We checked in on Saturday November 17th. Got to the Dolphin around 11am and didn't expect our room to be ready, but we did a pre-check in and they told us they'd call on my cell when our room would be ready.
I asked where our room was located (I called a few days prior requesting something on the Epcot side--east wing) and they told me they were full to capacity and they'd put me in the first available room. I was fine with that. There was a rather large convention going on sponsored by Johnson & Johnson. I was surprised that there would be a convention planned so close to Thanksgiving and on a weekend at that, but I guess you never know.
After lunch at the Fountain and doing a quick grocery stop, I decided to check back at the desk and our room was ready! We were assigned to rooms 5187 & 5193, a one bedroom executive suite that was on the corner of the hallway, just the way I like it!
We weren't on the east wing as I had hoped we'd be, but we did have a gorgeous view of the Grotto pool area and the Tower of Terror, the next best thing!
Here are a few shots taken from our windows:
Taken the following morning after sunrise from the main suite area:
Later in the day:
These photos were taken from our son's bedroom part of the suite:
Here are various shots of the room(s). Just in side the door, the kitchen-like area, which had plenty of drawers and cabinets:
The other side of the above photo:
Living room area:
The king fold out bed that DH and I slept on:
The boy's room:
As seen from the main area:
Their bathroom set up:
And their closet area:
What I call the "main" bathroom just off the foyer:
Half way through our stay they took out the 2-4 cup coffee makers and replaced them with a Starbucks set up:
For those inquiring about the size of the safe, here ya go!
If I can answer any questions, just fire away!
