Sorry, But I have beeen lurking for a while. Since my first WDW trip at 43, in june '08.

I am preparing, for a 2nd trip at just before my 46th, in March 20-26,2011.with DM, and Dd20 and Dd16.

It looks like a lighter Spring Break week and DM is very excited about the Flower and Garden show, and I am really getting into epcot.

We ate in a different country 3 nights, and we didn't really spent time in Epcot, yet ate in the WS and watched Illuminations 3 times in 5 nights. So we are looking forward to Epcot/WS.

Plan so far: staying in CSR. DxDP and Park Hopper(a must IMO)

Sunday arrive before noon, MK(late hours).
Monday Epcot
Tuesday DHS Sci-Fi lunch and F! brown derby dinner.
Wednesday-??
Thursday-??
Friday- AK?-Spirit of Aloha(DM insists)
Saturday- ?? 4p flight Home.

We are leaving lots of free time to explore, Pool/spa day , extra epcot/MK. We may even split up and in twos and just go wherever we please.

Haven't decided on too many ADR's, may just wing the rest. Last time did not ADRs until we got there. Got into Marakeesh, biergarten, and tokyo dining, with ADRs less than 24hrs in advance. Booked Sci-Fi and F-brown derby because we couldn't get anything in DHS except counter service, last trip. Dd16 and I want Hoop-de-doo again (DM and Dd20 not sure)and we may do it as a Daddy/Daughter night.

last trip, missed out on Epcot as a sacrifice to do Typhoon Lagoon, That was a collosal mistake, the water parks had a few cool things but wasn't worth it. We had much more fun in the pools at the resort.

I missed so much last time. Plus we were tired drom the drive down(900 miles), so we are flying this time.

What has changed since '08?? Any Suggestions?

I also am trying to help 1st timers, After I started planning again, I remembered how overwhelming the first trip was to plan, and made many mistakes and missed a lot.

We just returned to WDW early-mid December for our first visit since May 2006; things have changed a bit since then & it really is recommended now to book ADR's ahead of time (as soon as you possibly can!); we only planned < 3 months out, so didn't have our first choices with everything initially, but people cancel, so as your dates draw near, you might find what you are looking for.

Ok I booked a few more ADR's.

This plan also gives us lots of free time,

Moving around as a diverse family, we are going to swap out as pairs, and meet for lunch/dinner, except for Epcot, there we will stay together, last trip we didn't do much at Epcot.

I am excited about Soarin', and Mission:Space.

Welcome back. Building in free time is very important so well done thinking of that. It helps to have a buffer when things don't to quite according to plan. :)
