which would you do?

I have now done a b2b and loved it, but now I kind of want to go on the ship next march for my birthday and do a b2b again, we are already booked on the baltic and can't do both a b2b and Baltic just not cheap enough to do that. I'm more for a western and eastern for my birthday, but I think my dad would be more for the baltic

I would stick with the Baltic...seeing as though you have already done the B2B itineraries. Go for something new!!! That's just me though.

Just living vicariously since I do not see myself doing a Magic B2B, how about the Baltic with the Barcelona repo as a B2B?

if we do the baltic that's the only cruise we would be doing, if we were going to do a b2b with that we would have to switch to CCL:lmao:

The Transatlantic cruises are followed and preceded by Med cruises, not Baltic ones.

You can do an eastern/western B2b any time, but the Baltic cruises are offered only in 2010.

we if wouldn't be the same itinerarie for the b2b haha. we went to st. croix this year and next year it would be st. maarten:lmao:. But totally agree with you for going with something new, I just want to go to st. maarten so I'd go on either cruise:goodvibes

I meant the Barcelona to Dover and Dover to Barcelona 7/8nt cruises that are between the Med and Baltic itineraries

If you would have to switch to CCL, unless the CCL ports are a must see/completely different than DCL, I would stick with the Baltic.

That is why a Magic B2B is probably not in my future

You can do a Caribbean b2b for less $ than any of the Europe cruises - except for the Transatlantics. But I would still choose a Baltic itinerary (on a less expensive cruise line) over a Caribbean cruise - especially if a family member was paying for my cruise. :)

I don't really care about the ports on the Baltic, I'd use all them as sea days and stay on the ship:lmao:, I'd just go to be on the ship my dad can get off and I'd stay on, for a b2b western and eastern I'd get off a whole lot more:goodvibes

I hope you change your mind about that in the next 16 months. If you do stay onboard, I hope that decision ranks pretty high on the "Stupid Things I Did When I Was Young" list!

I really only like two ports they are going to on the Baltic cruise, my dad wants to go to those places, but I don't have much interest in going to those places. I'm more for going to Japan, but DCL isn't going to Japan, but that is just me, so no it wouldn't be on the "Stupid Thing I Did When I Was Young" list, I'd get off in the two places I want to go

I hope one of those places is St. Petersburg. Maybe if you started doing some research about the other ports, you'd become more interested in seeing them.

To go to Europe and NOT get off the ship is unthinkable to me. As a parent who plans to take my 2 daughters to Europe in 2010 (cruise and/or land trip) because they want to go there - I'm more than willing to pay for their expenses. However, if their attitude was the same as yours - they'd be sitting at home.

I really was not going to jump in on this one as I do not understand why anyone is willing to pay the rip off rate for the Baltic on DCL, but I need to defend someone I cruised with even though we did not meet. I am 34 and I am so with you on this one Marla. The only Place that I am even interested in getting off the ship would be in Norway and Sweeden. I have zero regrets about only leaving the ship about six hours on a 15 night cruise, or just the 3 1/2 hours in St. thomas and the 2 hours at CC on the last cruise. If she does not want to get off the ship, that is her decision. her dad want to go, and is being nice enough to take his adult child with him. I really think you should just respect her right to enjoy her vacation how she wants to. Marla only you know what you would like to do for sure. So I say talk to your dad and figure it out between the two of you and have a great time whatever you decide to do.

the only stops I like on the cruise would be Copenhagen and Oslo, I don't know if you count Dover as a port since you leave from there, so I don't call that I port on the cruise since we would be going there anyway. And yes like you said my dad wants to go, I want to go but I'd love sleeping and just sitting reading on the ship if anything, that's what I'll be doing on the WB transatlantic which we will deff be doing(just need to talk about this cruise or b2b with my dad), but I want to go to the stops they have on that cruise

Well see you and the Transatlantic next Sept.

To get to Dover you would fly to London.

Knowing now how little interest you have in the Baltic ports, I will change my recommendation to the b2b cruises in the Caribbean.
