Bachlorette...thoughts...

I'm really getting tired of Trista ... she talks like a baby and ALWAYS has to be making sounds while the guy is telling a story. And the squinty eyes!!! What's with that!!! She looks like she is either going to fall asleep or is drunk!! Yuck!!!

You knew she was going to dump Greg as soon as she saw the apartment!!! Not big or fancy enough.

Also, Ryan is out because he's not going to move from Colorado and Trista likes warm weather places. (He doesn't seem to have enough backbone either ... she'd be wearing the pants if it was a real relationship with him!!)

I hate Charlie's oily hair - but I thought his mom was great. What a weird situation to be put in!!! Television cameras there to record what you think about your son's date!!! Why to go Mom! She didn't seem at all impressed with Trista.

I like Russ the least and that's why I think he'd be perfect for her ... they seem to be two of a kind.

But she is always making remarks (right from the start) indicating that Charlie was the one. He is also the one I've heard she selected too.

I don't know if I'll watch anymore -- it's getting boring and I don't really like any of them anymore.

Yep I heard the ""Spoiler"" as well and have a feeling its true. Ryan is definatly my favorite, he reminds me sooo much of my DH in his actions.

I did like Charlie's mom though. I loved their house!!

I think Russ is way more ""Into"" Trista then she is him.

I wish I didn't know who the winner was, it kind of ruins it.

Good Morning America did a makeover on Greg's apartment this morning. Said they spent about $3000 -- most of the stuff came from Crate & Barrel.

Wonder what Miss Trista would say now????

I loved that they re-did his apt. He seems to be such a nice guy too! I haven't watched the Bachlorette but how shallow of Trista! I thought that the apt. wasn't that bad, for NYC it was pretty nice. To judge someone on their apt. how strange to me!

I didn't see the show last night but saw GMA this morning with the apartment make-over. They took his sofa, turned it to face the bed/window? and put a slipcover on it. They took bookcases and put all his stereo, etc in them and used them to form a wall. They hung curtains separating the bed area from the living area. The kitchen had a new black tile floor, and had chalkboard paint on the cabinets so that he could write messages on the doors, instead of having lots of notes around. He seemed very appreciative and sweet.

Up hear in California, they had Wayne (a pilot) on the radio. He seemed really nice and sincere, but he was eliminated the first day. He said he did it for a lark and never expected to get on the show. The DJ's up here are having a "Meet Wayne Night" at this country dance place because he likes to country dance. I can't remember what he looked like, but he did say they (the producers) edited his comments just enough to make him look silly-something about a french kiss which really isn't what he said at all.

I was flipping (channels that is) and missed Greg's apartment. I can't stand Russ, but I can't stand Trista either. She seems such a phony to me. As far as Ryan, he seems like he's about 20 years old to me-really young. He kindof reminds me of Josh Harnett, the actor.

I think the perfect person for Trista was the guy from the first Bachelor-they are the perfect match. Amanda, the girl he picked, would have been a better match for some of these guys.

I wish I knew they were doing Greg's apartment today I would've watched! Greg is such a doll and it's a shame he lost out, but in a way he really didn't! She said that she thought it was forced between them and you can't force chemistry.

I heard she was going to be with Charlie, too, but I wonder if things will change now because this leaked? Who knows?

I watched the show again and was it me or did Charlie's mom sort of "put down" everything she was doing? She kept pointing out that the PT was not as interesting since she was "having fun"... sort of putting down the fact that she wasn't pursuing her "practical" life. And his brother calling her the "ex Miami Heat dancer slash this and that.." yikes! They didn't seem like they liked what she stood for at ALL!

No its not just you Robin, I thought they were kinda of harsh also. Seemed kinda snobby. His brother and dad talking about her being high mainentance. Well arent most women? lol I like plenty of attn and nice things also.

I read the possible spoilers and hope they are true. Like many of you I CAN'T STAND RUSS!!! He tries to be so controlling. It almost seems like she's keeping him until one of the last two because he'll be easier to dump.

Ryan has an unmarked innocence which is refreshing to see in a person today. I truly admired the way he asked his father for his opinion. The way ABC aired their conversation made me feel like a fly on the wall.

If the spoilers are true, I hope Ryan is over his pain. He will have no problem with lassoing a bride. I wish the best for him.

I heard on the news Greg was saying it was prescription Codene. Anyone know any more info? Its a shame if it is cocaine and I'm disappointed to hear it.

Okay -- against my better judgement I watched the show again!!! I think Trista is ready for the Porn industry -- Yuck!!!

I really don't think there are any winners here ... what's with her needing to sleep with a guy to find out if he's the one -- obviously she "sampled" two of the guys. The host even commented on the fact that she had stated she would be willing to sleep with the bacholors in order to find out who was Mr. Right!!! In this day and age, I don't think this is a very smart thing to do!

In order to be fair, I think the Ryan and Charlie aren't so hot either ... do they always sleep with their girlfriends after a couple of dates? And knowing it's going to be on TV too? How bright is that??? Is this something to be proud of? Gee, I hope my mom and dad are watching - and all my co-workers - and, hey, my hometown too!

Do they have to undergo medical testing before they can be on this show for liability reasons?

Yuck !!!!

I do think they are required to have blood tests, but I agree with you, Trapped-Parent, the fact that she slept with two different guys just DAYS apart, well, the ick factor is high for me as well.

And I said on another thread, and I'll say it again here - Trista moved down a few notches for me last night after she complained that Russ forced her to make out with him. What a load of bull! It takes two to tango, Trista!

Ugh! The fact that we know she slept with both men sickens me. I think I'd rather not know and wonder whether she did---heck, wasn't she the one who slept with the bachelor #1 too? I don't think you have to sleep with someone to decide but I know others disagree (I've read those threads). I would think it would make it very hard for all of them to watch the show and actually see all this. The trust factor would be hurting for me.

I thought it was interesting how the guys seemed to be wondering so much what she thought of the others and where they stood with her. I don't remember the girls showing their concern about that as much as the guys are.

I think she'll pick Charlie. I doubt it'll last.

I agree. She should be sleeping with the guys, but not days apart. She should wait at least a week. And I always prefer wondering, not knowing, when people are sleeping with groups of others. But at least they have blood tests so everythng should be fine, no way they can get sick. Always amazed at how these shows always think of everything, even down to the blood tests so everyone is sure no one will get sick.

Always good to hear about quality programming.

Do we really know for a fact that Trista slept with both Charlie and Ryan? They love controversy on these shows so I wouldn't be suprised if they lead people in a certain direction.

Yes, I saw the part where Trista said she would sleep with a guy if that's what she felt like doing, I don't think that implies that she did.


I'm not defending her, I'm just saying the cameras weren't in the bedroom so we really don't know what happened.


Trista and the guy she picked (not sure if it was revealed earlier in the thread) are still together as of recently.
