Jake is great eye candy but when he talks....I fall asleep. Does anyone else think he's totally boring?

Also, more than enough crazy lady moments in the first show. Why did he ask Jillian and her beau who he should get rid of if he wasn't going to listen to them. She is NUTS!!! He thinks she's 'sincere.' Jake buddy, get a clue.

I just don't see Jake wanting to get involved with a woman who has a kid that age. I may be wrong, but I don't think she'll last long.

I am just speculating but based on where he lives and drives I would be very surprised if a woman with a kid was a big turn off.
In his neighborhood it is FULL of kids. His subdivision has its own elementary school there are so many kids. He has so many other choices or areas to live that are still close to the airport that are usually where the single pilots live (very close to restaurants, clubs, shopping etc).
Also, the guy drives a Suburban. The official car of Texas suburbs.
I am not remotely saying he likes this one woman with a child but it does not seem like he would reject because of that.

Yeah, he's kind of boring. Maybe that's why they need so much drama this season.

we got ten minutes into the show and agreed with Bonnie Hunt....we are done with the Bachelor. Not only is Jake just eye candy but the girls are just beyond vapid. Shame on the producers for creating this season and the "drama". I watched the ET piece and if even one little bit of the girls' claims are true....the producers are in huge trouble.

Only 2 comments since the show ended almost 12 hours ago. ETA: A few more posted while I was leisurely writing this post.
I love Ali. She just looks so cute and genuine.
This is the 1st Bachelor I have watched completely (so far) since the military Medical Dr (and I obviously did not remember his name). I feel differently about Jake since he put God first and he is a local boy. That being said, he seems a tad bit more genuine than most (and I almost cringe writing that since the whole concept is pathetic).
Anyway there are not any yet that really grate one me and I actually like a few of them.
