Bachelor Jake -- no-spoiler thread

Ali was my favorite, she was the one that was sick (losing her voice). She just seemed very genuine and NORMAL.

Michelle totally freaks me out, she seems SOOOOO needy it's actually frightening.

Tenley seemed sweet as well, but I don't know....she got on my nerves. The only reason she was talking about how she couldn't believe she had kissed him was because she wanted all of them to KNOW she had kissed him. If you're shocked and ashamed at yourself....would you really share that? Nope. And besides....it wasn't exactly some crazy kiss....it was a peck! She was a little over the top with that stuff.

It's an interesting group for sure.

I missed the first couple minutes.. did Jake say at anytime " I am a Christian" ? just wanted to know for my own conclusions...

anyway.. I have looked forward to Jake the Bachelor. He seemed like a really good guy. Hot for sure.. but a good guy.

I remember him putting God in his top three priorities when a girl asked him.

I didn't hear him say that, but he did say that God was his number one priority. I think it was #1 God, #2 Family, #3 Friends, but I could be mistaken about #3.

I have a question for the rest of you ... when we saw the preview of Jake burning a rose my DD asked my if someone had ever turned down a rose. I didn't think so. Does anyone know for sure?

Someone turned down a rose from Aaron Burgee, or whatever his name is. He was such a creep anyway. There may have been others but I don't remember.

BTW, don't you think it was a stupid question Chris Harrison asked Jake about giving up flying if he fell in love with someone who didn't like to fly??? Why should he have to give up his JOB? It would surely complicate the relationship if she really and truly NEVER wanted to get on a plane...I bet he's got some good benefits and opportunities to fly (be flown) all over the world, but he certainly wouldn't have to give up flying.

That Chris Harrison...he's so deep.

I was expecting them to do a vote like they did on the last Bachelor where they all voted for someone expecting them to be taken out of the game and that girl ended up with a one on one date I think.

Tenley seemed sweet as well, but I don't know....she got on my nerves. I think that there are a number of them that are there to further their careers then to fall in love with Jake.

I also like Ali and Tenley, and told my family Michelle was this season's Shannon. It was funny that she was the only one that Jillian and Ed told Jake to send home (that was aired anyway), yet he kept her. Foreshadowing, perhaps?

I hate the first night. It doesn't seem like enough time for Jake (or for us) to really form opinions before sending 10 girls home. My 12yo said Jake was lucky, all of them were so nice and pretty. I told her just wait a few more episodes, some of them will turn ugly, you can count on it!

I just don't see Jake wanting to get involved with a woman who has a kid that age. I may be wrong, but I don't think she'll last long.
