Ok...coming from the US over our Thanksgiving holiday...slowly getting our entire vacation booked...getting very excited now! Booked our airfare early last week (US to London then Paris back to US). With airfare locked in, got our Disneyland Hotel and park tickets package booked late last week. Now tonight I've booked Eurostar from London to DLP. Now I just need a hotel for a night in London, then a hotel for a few nights in Paris away from DLP, and we'll be completely set!!!

Anyone have tips for a London hotel (Quad, not terribly expensive) -- leaving from St Pancras on a Monday morning -- tired after flying in from US on Sunday, but still going to do a bit around London before crashing for the night and taking the train in to DLP on Monday!

We're stationed in Germany, and most everyone that visits London will opt to stay in a Premier Inn....there's lots of them scattered around London....perhaps look into one of those? Or maybe a local will be able to suggest something better. :)

We're American also and went to DLP last Thanksgiving for the week, and had dinner at the Hunter's Grill in the Sequoia Lodge....it was a very nice buffet, and even had stuffed turkey. Just an idea if you're in the mood for something familiar for Thanksgiving dinner. ;)

Hope you have a great trip! We were just in London last month....my favorite place around. :goodvibes

Premier Inn

Also have a look at Travelodge, not quite as nice as Premier Inn but perfectly fine if you can get it cheap enough.

Travelodge

There are also many budget hotels in the area if neither of the above are suitable.

Hmmm -- Premier Inn looks perfect, now an interesting question...Anyone have experience booking (and pre-paying) from a mobile device (phone, tablet, etc)? The reason I ask is -- right this moment, for some odd reason, there is a DRAMATIC price difference when I look at the mobile site that comes up on my phone compared to the full website that comes up on my computer. I have double and triple checked -- in both cases, the date is the same, the party is the same (2 adults, 2 children), and the room type is the same (Family). On my phone, the rate is £69 pre-pay and on the full website, the rate is £136 pre-pay.

Any thoughts or weird UK issues that I'm overlooking here? :confused3

:confused3

How strange. What date are you looking at and I'll see what price it gives me.

Same here, I'm getting the choice of three rates, and it lets me go ahead and start a booking with the £69 rate so it is a valid one.

(Copied and pasted)
£69.00 Premier Saver Pre-pay, no amends or refunds
£97.00 Premier Flexible Amend up to 1pm on arrival day
£114.90 Premier Flex + Breakfast Amend up to 1pm on arrival day Includes Premier Breakfast

Weird, as I still get the same thing on my computer (cookies deleted, history cleared, etc), but I booked via my tablet and had no problem! So we're all booked, prepaid, confirmation in hand. So one step closer!! :cool1:

Thanks again, all!
