Ok, so I finally got Cole to sleep. It is 2 hours past his normal time but still better than the last few days. This was his first day without a fever since Thursday.

I am going to try and put at least a short update here but I'm a little drained so it might not be much for now.
This is one of the first places we saw when we got close to DTD.
We left WCC and took off for DTD. We arrived and headed to the
Lego Store first. The boys really like legos so they were excited about this. We all thought all of the huge Lego statues were really neat.
The boys love Transformers also so this was really neat to see.
It is really neat how this guy moves and makes sounds.
It was some kind of big lego weekend while we were there so there was all kinds of tables set up with people displaying their lego creations. Some people have way too much time on their hands, lol. However, they are very talented.
We finally made it inside the store and saw some Bionocle guys...another of the boys favorites.
We then saw a display set up in the middle of the store with some guys working on something. When we got closer we saw this big R2D2.
They informed us they were doing a special thing for the lego weekend and were building a giant replica of this R2D2(like the outside statues). They said that there were stations set up outside that told you how to build the different lego "bricks" they used to build it. You could build some, have them inspected and then if they passed you brought them in to the guys and they would use them to make the R2D2 and you got a certificate saying you helped. Being huge Star Wars fand and lego lovers this was really cool to the boys...and their dad, lol.
Building the bricks
Getting them inspected
Handing them in and getting their certificates with their names on them.
Of course even Cole built one, lol.
Then we went back outside and there was a booth where you could build three lego guys with assorted body parts and accessories for $9.99. Since it was a lego weekend they had a special that you could fill a special pouch to the brim with pieces and as long as it still closed it was only $9.99. Their dad took this as a "challenge" lol. He broke 2 pouches trying to cram them full. The boys were elated with all they were able to get.
A couple of more photo ops
I just have to say while we were by these statues (with a sign that says stay off) there was a lady there with her son who was probably 7 or so and while we were waiting to get pics she was letting her son sit on the dogs and climb on the people...I was nervous for her. Could you imagine if one of those broke....that's smart parenting there, lol.
Which store would we go to next?????
