My dd's due date was Nov. 7. Then doctor changed it to Oct 16 and told me I should quit work (teacher) as I was 2 cm. I felt good, so kept teaching--sat alot and my kiddos were so good and helpful (small rural school with strong parenting support). Anyway, dd came on Nov. 25. Not much labor, they broke my water and 4 hours later I had a baby. Would have been 3 hours, but she decided to turn herself upside down at the last moment!
ds is adopted from Korea. It was exactly 9 months from the initial paperwork until when he came home at 3 1/2 months. The worst part? Seeing his picture and waiting 2 months for him to come (though that was nothing compared to the wait some people now have); then they put parents off to the side to wait while the babies were brought off the plane. So my photographers and his big sis got to see him first!
