Baby swap with Fast Pass -- do both parents need a FP?

Would it be possible to get just one FastPass for a ride, have dh use it, then baby swap with him, and let me ride it, without my own FP? Or do I need one, too? I'm wondering if each of us can get one for a different ride, and do two thrill rides one right after the other.

Has anyone tried it?

Here's our experience ... when we were there in Oct., we asked this of the R&RC CM (since DS8 won't ride R&RC). Not only did DH and I need FP's, our DS needed one as well, even though we were swapping him out.

Maybe it's changed, or maybe that's just what the CM told us. Maybe others can back this up ... or share their experiences.

Based on my experience last month this is possible. I did it a number of times during our trip. The key however, is that it only works for attraction where you wait outside the entrance and where the baby swap ticket is good for multiple people. If you perform the swap inside, you all need fast passes to get in.

There was 5 in our party 2 Adults, 2 Children, 1 Baby. I would get 2 fast passes. At the posted time I would approach the FP entrance and indicate that I wanted to swap. The attendent would exchange the 2 FPs for a baby swap ticket and 2 riders would enter. At swap time I would approach the FP entrance again and use the baby swap ticket for upto 3 riders (normally, we only used it for 2).

Yes, our experience is the same. Even if we only wanted to walk in to accompany the rider, we had to have a FP.

Last week whenever we wanted to do a child swap we all went to the CM at the entrance and they gave me a FP that was good for up to 3 people and DH went on in the line. Those are usually good for a few days. The one that we were given at RNRC on Tuesday didn't expire until Saturday. We would go back to the ride later in the day to use the CS FP.
