Our son will be 3 months old for his first trip to Disney next month. We are bringing my sister along with us to help out with the baby and she hasn't been to Disney since she was little. My question about baby swap is if you can have 3 adults and 1 baby or just 2 adults? This way none of us will have to ride the ride alone. If this comes across as selfish, it isn't meant to be. I just wanted to know of anyone's experiences with it. We haven't been to Disney with children before so we don't really know how that works. Thanks!!! ::MickeyMo

LOVE BABY SWAPPING!!! We used it on just about every ride. You walk up to the CM at the enterance and ask for a baby swap ticket he hands one to you and it is good for 3 people (if memory serves me correct). What we did was get a FP for the ride so DH would ride it first w/ little wait and then I would use the BS ticket w/ little wait. Basiclly all it is a FP ticket. You go in the FP lane. Have a great time!

Here's how it work for you:

You get to the ride, tell the CM you want a baby swap. They'll give you a new baby with a clean butt and take your dirty diapered baby. Next ride you swap for another clean baby! :rotfl:

seriously though... just go up to a ride, tell the CM you're doing baby swap. He'll give you a rider switch ticket (looks like a fastpass) and then you and DH go on the ride, while DSis waits with baby. Once you and DH come out, you and DSis go back to the ride and give the CM your rider switch ticket and you guys ride while DH waits with baby.

So... in this case, one of you will get to ride twice! You can figure out who gets to ride again.

Have fun!

Whew!!! As the mommy, I think I should ALWAYS be the one to ride twice!

That is awesome- now we don't have to skip alot of the rides that we thought we would have to! Quick question about the stroller- can you bring them in the line if baby is sleeping in it? We will have the Bjorn carrier but he will probably wake up with all the switching going on!

You don't go through the line w/ the baby.(at least we didn't) When the first part of your party comes out you go to the FP lane and hand your BS ticket to the CM and you go through the FP lane.

Oh- duh! Would make sense... see?! My anticipation of the trip is hindering my ablility to think clearly! :badpc: :badpc:    :hyper2: :crazy2:

usually you'll wait outside of the ride. Most of the rides will have a gift shop at the exit of the ride. You can wait there so you're not too bored. At Mission:Space, the exit area has a climbing tunnel for toddlers and babies, and it's a great place to wait for your party.
