Can somebody please explain how baby swap would wokr at test track and soarin.

For test Track, would we all wait in the queque and then one person would ride and the other adult. However I dont see how we could do this since my son couldnt ride, after the ride is over we would have to pass him around thru the car. He is 2 1/2. Would we enter via the exit somehow?

Also how does baby swap work at soarin? Do we all enter the queque and then one adult would ride while my son and other adult waits in the queque. Or do we wait by the exit and then swap.

I would appreciate anybody with experience on the baby swap for these two rides. Thanks alot

It's actually much simpler than that. You show up to the line and show your child to an employee standing by the line entrance. They will give you what looks like an old school paper fastpass. You never even enter the line with the child. Then you have until the end of the day to get back in line using the child swap ticket and it let's you go through the FP line. The tickets are good for you and 2 guests.

Same with soaring-- show the child to the CM- get your Swap ticket then take the child to do living with the land or Circle of life. And meet your party after. Save your pass for your second day or use it later in the day.

If it is just two adults and a child too small to ride, consider just using the single rider line at Test Track. We found several times that it was a lot faster to do that than use a rider swap and go through the FP+ ride.

Also, for the parent waiting with the child - if you go in through the exit/gift shop, there are some benches (and a/c) in the area by the cars. It is also very easy to watch for the other person exiting the ride there.

A child that is too small to ride cannot enter a queue. As others said, you present the child at the entrance to the ride and you get a paper pass that lets you use fastpass later. Soarin is a pain in the butt because you must present the child at the actual entrance, yet no strollers are allowed in the land so you have to carry a non-walker. It should be fine in your case since he can walk unless your little one happens to have fallen asleep in the stroller.
