Baby on Board

We will be cruising this Sunday on the Wonder with a 9 month old. Can you buy baby products on board like diapers, formula & food? If so, are they outragously priced? Also......is the water okay to mix formula with or should I bring a jug or 2 of bottled water? I'd hate for the ship water to make her sick!

They may have some emergency supplies on board, but nothing in a general "store" environment to buy, I believe. We are spending the night before at the Port and are planning on making a stop at a local store to stock up on diapers and supplies for our baby so we don't have to lug it all down in suitcases on the plane. The water is fine - bring a couple of bottles of water and when it's gone, refill it at the beverage station on Deck 9. It's good wather and won't make your baby sick at all! You can buy bottled water on board, but it gets expensive and is really unnecessary.

I drink bottled water only and I drank the ship's water with no problem. I brought bottled water for our 6month old when we sailed. I also brought way too much baby food. The waitstaff will have veggies or fruits smashed /pureed or whatever you child needs. The only think that is not available would be the rice/oatmeal ceareal type things. I brought a box of it with me and 7 jars for each day. The box was fine and I only used the jars when we were on the islands. I don't remember seeing much by way of baby supplies but I know in the resorts the baby food jars are $1 a piece.
I would definately bring powered formulas though so you don't have to heat it up.

i packed everything the baby needed for our cruise...diapers, baby food, even his portable feeding chair. it was very much worth it. they have small sections in treasure ketch for travel size diaper cream, infant tylenol and the like, but it's very expensive. You shouldn't worry about diapers and food taking up too much packing space because by the end of the week they'll be gone and you'll have room for souvenirs. search these boards for keywords like baby, infant, baby food, they were a great resource when i was planning my trip. have a good one.

I can only speak to the diapers - which I forgot - and the only brand they carry is Huggies (I'm a Pampers user). If I remember correctly, a pack of 12 (?) size large was $8.33 OUCH
