My DD was born at 24 weeks at less than a pound and a half. Kind of bumpy road, was on the ventilator 63 days total. Now, Thank God, a perfectly healthy 7 1/2 YO.
Did you God-daughter have a specific health issue in addition to her prematurity?
I was very surprised to find out the survival rate for 24-25 weekers is over 70% at the hospital we were at in Dallas.
