Baby Girl Name Thread

I'm partial to Emma - it was my late MIL's name..:lovestruc

I think Emma is pretty. Gemma is also really nice.

My DD is Nicole Gillian and my GDD is Natalie Grace. When I was pregnant with DD, I was going between the two names. I went with Nicole Gillian and when DD got pregnant she was looking at the middle name Grace. I told her about the two different names that I had picked and she opted to name her DD Natalie Grace.

My mom gave me the idea to use a middle name with the same initial as her last name so that when she got married, her middle initial could also stand for her maiden name. She wished she had done that with my sister and me, but did not hear about it until after we were born. My DD used the same idea. So both my DD and GDD have the initials NGG.

I am a Margaret Helen. My middle name is after my dad's mother.

Gemma, I love Gemma!

OP, don't you just hate it when names you love get too popular?

I have an Avery and Gianna. Avery is getting more popular around here but it's still not overly used. She's the only one in my county. But Gianna is the only one in our region I bet. Half the people don't even know how to say it. Is it really that hard? :confused3

I am all about more unique or original names. I would stay away from Emma and Abby as a first name, but if you love one, use it as a middle. I love Emma. :thumbsup2
Gianna's popular up here in NJ-2 of my friends named their daughters Gianna. Pretty!
