ONE WEEK TO GO!!!!
Can anyone tell me best way of going about using baby food. Our son will have turned one the day before we go!!! He has some baby food jars, the rest is usually blended or cut really small. Do you think we'd get away with taking some jars in our luggage, or is it easy to buy over there. We wont have a car and will need to buy from resort (Disneyland Hotel?????) Any help appreciated! Thanks.!

When my DS was a baby we look all the jars we needed because I was afraid we wouldnt get anything he liked when we got there. I was glad I did because the Newport Bay shop only had a very small selection.

You could make the trip to the supermarket but we have never done that so dont know if they would stock the usual brands.

The milk is also very different there!

There was microwaves in the counter service resturants to heat the food.

See you are going to be there when we are! How long you going for?

I would take my own food. I think its better to give your child the foot he is used to eat.
My son never liked the French baby food.
Just ask the conciërge where you can heat them up.

I'd take your own . The selection is quite limited from what I remember

I agree take your own. There were jars available at the buffet but the choice was limited - I remember my nephew having to eat carrot for breakfast (just as well he was too young to complain!)

We took DD last year when she was 11 mths. We took cartons of ready made formula and baby food with us.

Rather than jars we took the heinz tins (with ring pull) and plastic tubs as these weighed a lot less. Even so, the food and milk did weigh quite a bit.

The food in the hotel shops and baby care centres is quite limited so you would be as well to take your own. At least you know they will eat it. We also took some weetabix for breakfasts.

DD has just started to eat proper food before we went so we tried her with various things - croissants, sandwiches, chips(!!) etc.

Any more questions, just let me know.

Maybe a silly advice.
When you heat up the baby food in the micro take a bowl or something like that.
When you heat the glass jars the food will pop out and kind of explodes in the micro.
That’s a mess and half of the food is spoiled.
