Baby Food Suggestions

I swear my DD came out of the womb eating chicken noodle soup
she also loves dumplings at that age if they are dense you cold cut them up
veggies cooked really well and cut up small work well like corn, carrots, peas, green beans

how do you give your babies soup? I assume it isn't hot. Do you just spoon it. Or do you not do the broth...just the veggies/noodles/whatever?

You can add cottage cheese to any beef or tomato based soup (drain the soup just a little so it isn't too juicy). The cold cottage cheese cools it. This is also good with spaghetti or ravoili. Cools it down. Looks terrible, but it tastes good. I never tried it with a chicken soup, but that might be good too.

I have a great fluffy-type chicken dumpling recipe that kids like. It's not the dense kind, but light and airy. Let me know if anyone wants it.

Man, we just graduated to stage 2 gerber foods when DS turned 8 months earlier this month. I didn't start my DD on table foods until she was a year old. DS couldn't eat much anyway...he still doesn't have any teeth!

Don't let the lack of teeth discourage you. I once cared for a little girl who didn't have ANY teeth until about 16 months. It didn't stop her one bit - she ate everything!
