Hi everyone, we are heading back to the world in early november with our daughter. We plan on buying most of her baby food down there. Just need help with plan of attack. We wont have a car. Garden Grocer? Resort shops? Any thoughts would be great. Thanks!

I would guess Garden Grocer would be cheaper and more efficient than trying to buy baby food on-site.

That being said, and depending on how old your kid(s) are, a taxi ride to the grocery store may be your best bet. One trip and you could get all the baby food/diapers/snacks/breakfast food/drinks/ you may need. And the grocerie stores actually carry some nice souvenirs.

You're not going to get a huge selection in the resort gift stores, plus who knows how much they would mark it up.

What about booking a towncar from the airport? Maybe $45 for one way, and they'll include a grocery stop. Then you can go in, pick exactly what you want/need and know you're getting it all in one stop.

If you didn't want to use the towncar on the way home, you could still use Magical Express. But if I needed groceries, that would be the way I would do it.

I don't know how long you'll be there --- but the space the food takes in the suitcase on the way down is perfect for the souvenirs you'll be bringing home!

You can buy milk at the resort shops - but I would not plan on buying stuff there otherwise. The resort shops I've see all had a limited, over-priced selection of baby food.

Handful of days - bring it. A LONG trip - you'll probably want stuff, too, and then I'd use Garden Grocer or wegoshop. You pay a bit of premium for the service, but it's well worth the convenience!
