Baby Elephant

Has anyone seen the new Baby Elephant that was born at Disney AK a couple of months ago.

Is he/she out on the Safari yet? If not has anyone taken the backstage tour and seen him/her.

We were on the tour last year when they announced that they were expecting a birth.

We saw the baby last week on the Safari! What a wonderful, beautiful signt. Of course that was the highlight of the ride for everyone!

I saw the baby last Friday too on the regular Safari ride!

We also got a passing glimpse of the baby elephant last week. He was way in the back so I couldn't get a picture. If you go back to Rafiki's Planet Watch, they have a tv showing some video of the little guy playing. He was so cute!! They also have the details on his parents, date of birth, size, etc.

When we were at WDW last week, we hit Animal Kingdom on Monday for EMH and headed straight for the safari ride. We did spot "Little Red" and they said it was her first day out. She and her mom were making a dash for the back of the park so we caught her as she was running after her mom. Too Cute!!
