Hiya

we arrive at Coronado Springs on Sat Sept 8 and have booked a crib/cot for my grand daughter who is 5 months old. Can anyone tell me what these are like ? does anyone have a link with more info and maybe some pics......many thanks

Are they getting you a crib or were you going to use a Pack-n-play for her to sleep.

I have a little one that has been on her fair share of Disney Trips since she was 5 months old! (6x)
She is now 18 months. We on all occasions have used the pack and play. (We did make the bottom a bit more comfortable for her.)

I have see the cribs while never used one. The best way to describe them would be to say they kind of look like a hospital crib. I know that sounds horrible! They are all metal and on wheels. I have seen them to where they have a white finish or were just chrome.

Our little one did great in the pack-n-play and as I stated previously, we brought a few extra baby blankets and made her bed more "homey" with her stuff.

Not sure if this helped.
Have fun with the Little Princess!princess:

At the Poly this past August, our daughter had a portable crib. I was under the impression that all the hotels had pack n plays. Apparently not. But she had been in a port-a-crib the weekend before in Dallas so she was quite used to it. They even had a Mickey Mouse sheet!

They are about 3 feet long and about 1 1/2 feet wide. It fit in the area between the "hallway" to the bathroom and the desk, where our connecting door was.

I think it was wood, but Jenny Lind (spindly) style. Your granddaughter will fit just fine.

I'm sorry, I have no pictures. Good luck.

Something else I thought of.....

I went on Trip Advisor and I think there were some pictures of the Poly rooms and a crib. You could try the same for CSR. You could also thumb through (if you have nothing but time) the Room Picture thread(s). There might be something in there.

We rented a full sized crib from A Baby's Best Friend in Orlando. Not sure of the website...google it and it should come up. We reserved it online. My 18 month old ds hates pack n plays. It was delivered to our room. My husband had to assemble and came with bedding and a bumper. You had to repack it and send it to the bellman when you checked out. We stayed at POFQ and had plenty of room.:)

We just returned and the resorts we stayed at sent us a real crib. At OKW with was a small white metal one and was perfect. Then when we switched to the BCV they sent up the large/full size metal (hospital type) crib. The nice part about each crib was that they came with a nice thick crib mattress, not the thin 1 inch one in the pack and play. Since our little one was only 12 weeks old, it was perfect for her. It made it easy for mom to lay her down after rocking her to sleep or feeding her, without having to bend into the pack and play. I believe most delux resorts have larger standard cribs, but don't know about moderate resorts. They are on first come first serve basis and can not be ordered in advance. You have to call mousekeeping after you check into your room.
