Hoping to take a long weekend trip to DL in October with my DH and 2 DD's, 4yo and 10mo. I plan on wearing my BECO baby carrier with the 10mo most of the time to free up the stroller in case my 4yo needs it. My question is, can I wear her on any of the rides that don't have a height restriction? Or is it different for each ride? I'd hate to have to take her in and out of the carrier all the time! Anyone that has experience with this I'd love your help! Thank you! :)

Hi!

Excellent choice on the BECO, by the way.

In answer to your question...all the rides have different rules. But mostly the rule of thumb is ---if there is a lap bar the baby needs to out and facing forward, if there is no bar (think, DLRR, etc.) then baby is OK in BECO!!

Enjoy your visit!!

I'd mostly consider how you feel sitting down with him in the Bebo. Can you sit down with you back strait and feel ok or do you have to recline a lot?

Ha, when I saw your post title I was imagining someone lugging an infant car seat/carrier on a ride! :lmao:

I think PP answered your question! IASW comes to mind as a good one to ride while wearing a baby. You can also get rider switch passes (or am I thinking WDW) so that you and DH can switch off riding/holding the baby without waiting in line twice.

I loved my Beco, favorite baby thing I bought!! I think for the most part you will probably be taking baby out, it'll give her a chance to be out of the beco and can see everything better on the ride. Like someone said, alot of the rides have a lap bar so you would have to anyways, maybe leave her in for PoC incase she get's scared. Have fun!!!

Thank you everyone for your replies!! I love my BECO, I don't know what I would do without it!

I can usually sit pretty comfortably with it on, so I don't think that would be an issue, but it's definitely something to think about! Thanks.

Haha! I had a feeling it might seem like that was what I was asking about! WHAT?! You mean I can't bring my infant carseat on the rides?!

Thanks again everyone!

I think I could say it's my favorite baby purchase as well!

You got me thinking, I have no problem taking her out for the rides as long as she can chill in there in line, but is there an issue with me keeping the carrier on me during the rides while holding her? I know, totally lamesauce questions! I've never taken a baby to Disney before. :)

I thought I have read on here that you can have the baby in the carrier with the lap bar as long as you lift their legs before it goes down? I'm curious too as my sister-in-law is coming with us next time and will have a 5 month old.

I have traveled with our youngest in a carrier at 2 months and at 10 months. I used a baby bjorn. I pretty much kept him in the carrier at all times. When he was 2 months old he was inward facing and I just had to make sure his body was lifted up for the lap bar rides. HM is one of them for sure.
Same thing at 10 months but he was outward facing. Sometimes I would take him out. It depended on the ride.
