Baby BOY Names.... (that haven't been used to death)

Mitchell
Griffin
Paul
Davis
Preston
Donovan

As a teacher I'm seeing a lot of 'J' names right now (Jack, Jake, Jackson, Jacob, Jordan)

I love the name Lucas. If DD had been a boy her name would have been Lucas Aaron.

My son, who is now 21, was almost named Clifford Patrick but we gave him James Arthur instead. It's funny because he loves the name Clifford and actually got one of his high school teachers to call him "Cliff".

I have nephews that are two and three years old called Elias, Sawyer, Benjamin and Koen.

Good luck on the search for a name. Maybe you'll find one here. Would love to know what you finally decide on.

Had a little boy in one of my classes with the name Cade. Never heard the name before but love it and he was such a sweetie.

our ds is named bradley, named after dh's good friend who died from injurys received from a military rollover. this was decided long before we ever even thought about having children. his middle name is very common, jacob, but it's the only thing i could find to fit! i have a feeling tho with bradley cooper out there becoming more famous this name will make a reappearance!

our angel baby is named cameron since we weren't sure of the sex and cameron can easily be used for either.

You have received some wonderful suggestions. We had a very difficult time choosing a name. DH loves traditional names but I do not. We ended up choosing Caleb. We thought it was a strong name to go with our feminine sounding last name. It is a bibilical name meaning "servant of the Lord." Caleb was a faithful, loyal man. Name origins are important to us.

My son is Wyatt. He's 9 now, but I think we picked the name out about 4 years before. There are very, very few Wyatt's around. We've met a handful, I'd guess, in total. Mostly little boys, one teenager, 1 local business man and 1 politician.

We also considered Owen, Aidan, and Heath. Don't know anyone with those names still...

These days I like Vincent...

Wyatt has classmates named Davis, Sam, Seth, Christopher, Jacob, Josh, Tripp, Jackson, James, Joseph, Max, TJ, Jake, Leegan, Cameron, etc. He has cousins named Jackson, Britt, Henry and Nathan. Neighborhood friends are Gabriel, Alex, Dylan, Jacob, Caleb, Eli, Jordan, Taylor, Liam, Jett.

Lots of options!

Our DS2's name is Andrew David (common, I know) but we call him Andy. Do you know how many people tell us "It is very rare these days to hear a baby called Andy!" Lots of older men named Andy get so excited to hear we dont call him Andrew.
Weird, I know!!

My daughter liked the name Ty but didn't want a Tyler because it is so common so I suggested Tyson and it stuck. I think it suits him well. Tyson Boyd ______ was born 3 months ago and has us wrapped around his little finger.

Had a little boy in one of my classes with the name Cade. Never heard the name before but love it and he was such a sweetie.

Cade is cool...I believe its from the video game Mortal Kombat. (I have a daughter with the name Rayden from that video game...lol)

As a teacher I'm seeing a lot of 'J' names right now (Jack, Jake, Jackson, Jacob, Jordan)

I love the name Lucas. If DD had been a boy her name would have been Lucas Aaron.

My son was going to be Lucas Aaron until my BIL forbid us from using Aaron. There are two family names for their family- Aaron and Thomas. BIL has Aaron as a middle name and my DH is Thomas. He said we couldn't have *his* name. :confused3:sad2:
...so DS is Lucas James! :goodvibes

I looove Clayton and Alexander. Good luck picking out a name Maggie!!

My DS is Theodore, Theo for short.

I also like Owen and Oliver mentioned in the previous posts.

I teach with a guy whose sons are Bennett and Wilson. They go by Ben and Will, so they have common names for short, but they're full names are much harder to come by.

I love the name Declan. I have only met one Declan in my life, and I just really like the name. I also like the names Jackson, Chase, Luke and Jake. If I ever have 2 boys they will probably be Declan Chase and Jackson Luke.

Good luck with your decision... let us know what you pick!

In that case...anything BUT Tyler.

We had never heard the name...now it seems like every other 13 - 11 year old is named Tyler.

Oh well...good luck!
