Baby and the Tramp...and a Pop (half) Century! Where Did It Go???

As soon as Brooklynn can type she will be getting her own Disboard account. We decided to go to Chattanooga this weekend. We went to the aquarium yesterday morning. When Brooklynn woke up in the hotel yesterday she looked at me and said "Mickey bus" and hopped out of bed and headed for the door. That shows you where she stays in hotels. We went to the aquarium and there were a few tour buses dropping off some groups Brooklynn headed straight for the door of the big white one saying "Mickey" and "A-Camo". She has been well trained! Well we are packing up to head home. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

That is so cute of Brooklynn and the Disney bus. You and MeMon need to write a book about adventures in Disneyworld according to Brooklynn.

That's adorable!

Updates were great MeMom!! I too am a lover of Living with the Land but I think its more like "90 Minutes for Soarin??? But i'm tiiiiired and i'm hoooooot!" Oh look LWTL is a walk in!

CM: Yes and we have air conditioning AND seats!

soexcitedsoexcitedsoexcitedsoexcitedsoexcited! YIPEE!

Great updates! I have been getting over my Post-Disney Depression, but now am looking forward to our June trip. Solomon had a great time and it was so much fun to see disney through his eyes, although he slept most of the time including at the end of the Safari. Can't wait to read more!

MeMom, you are so right. Third grade girls can be mean. Thankfully I have one of the "nice" ones still. ;) Great update! You have such nice story telling skills. I haven't done Living with the Land yet and now I am going to for sure!

Thanks for all of the pictures of two my favorite Disney rides. I can smell the pine needles just by looking at those Soarin pics and feel the cleanlines and wonder while looking at Living the Land. My mom has green hands (she far more than a green thumb) and this is going to be my first year giving it a shot on my own.

We are headed to Disney with my parents next year and I am hoping to get my mom into the Behind the Seeds tour. I think she'd be tickled to see the exhibit that way!

Good Monday morning, everyone!

declansdad and pooksma - I hope your weekend trip was fun and you're back safely at home.

punkin - This is your week! I want to hear you singing Disney songs of joy all the way up here in the hills! Saturday you will be there!

VandyFan10 - I'll want to see your Soarin' pictures. I just put the camera in my lap and clicked. I don't know anything about settings. Drew got one or two good ones in November, but I'm not sure what he did.
We're getting a new camera soon, so when I'm picking it out, I'll probably be asking the salesperson to find me one that takes good Spectro and Soarin' pictures.
At which point, he/she will look at me like I'm crazy.
They will be right.

pooh'smate - I think Pluto more leaned into her than she really kissed him. She was standing several feet back just staring at him, and he scooted up and leaned into her. It was a cute picture though.
I'm glad you're enjoying our pictures. I'll try to put up more in the next few days.

scottny - Try Living with the Land at night sometime, too. It gives it a whole different feel.
How's that NY Dismeet shaping up?

TCKK - I'm looking forward to Poor Folks go to Disney World on Friday night! It was fun to see how the other half lives, but $600 for someone to walk me through the parks. I think not!
I can give you a long list of things I'd rather do at Disney with that $600. However, I do think all the guys would like to do that Richard Petty racing deal. They might be satisfied with riding as a passenger, though, because the driving would be out of my price range.

micandminforever - The plants were awake for us. That is a cute way to put it, though, when they were broken down. True Disney fashion. I'd like to pull one of those pineapples right up and start slicing it. Don't you know how good that would be?

I guess that's why they check my bags out front - to make sure I don't have a pineapple cutting knife with me!!!

dancin princess - I am looking so forward to meeting you next week! I hope it works out for Jill and Brooklynn to be here at the time you come through.

I'll ride Living with the Land with you any time you want. Just swing by here and get me when you're on your way from WI to FL. Boy, like Nicole, when you move, you really move a long way!

SwansLoveDisney - When can we make those November flights? Can't wait to meet you guys!

Nicole - Good to see that you approved of my update.
Yes, we're training that little girl right. I'm also pushing for another little Diser in training, but my daughter tells me she has Disney trips to take first. She doesn't want to miserable on any of her Disney trips, so I have to (im)patiently wait.
I'm waiting.
I'm waiting.
Is this long enough?
This is as patient as it gets.

Tinkergurl20 - Are you doing a trip report from either of your trips? If not, feel free to share a picture or two with us here. We'd enjoy seeing your fun!
Jill and John are staying at POFQ in October. Let us know all the tips and secrets when you stay there.

Love my3babes - Gotta see the Land. When the plants are awake.
I'm glad you have a good girl. Keep her that way!

moparop - I'd love to do the Behind the Seeds tour! She'll love it! I want to see pictures of that, for sure!

BrooklynnsMommy - I'm glad you had fun this weekend. Sorry there was no Mickey bus. There will be a Mickey bus in 68 days!

Haha MeMom! Sure enough, one day I'm sure your daughter will bless you with another grandchild, maybe a boy this time? Or maybe she's already pregnant and trying to yank your chain?? (Did i just ruin the surprise, BrooklynnMommy???) Just kidding.

And yes, I approve of the prior update. This one is okay, communication is always a fun update but their better be a trip chapter coming up real soon, or at least before June gets here! LOL!

I will try it at night. have not heard anything from anyone. so I have no idea.

Hahah...you sound just like my mom before she knew I was pregnant. She already had one grandchild and was pushing for more.

No one needs to encourage MeMom on the baby front. There is no way I want to be walking a million miles at Disney World chasing a toddler and looking like I am smuggling a basketball under my shirt. I told her we are at least getting through our summer trip because 104 degrees is hot enough without being pregnant too. Besides Memom I would have to rest way more often and who would be there to make fun of you taking all your random pictures. You know the ones where you are laying on the ground at Hollywood Studios!

I agree with not wanting to go to disney pregnant. That is the only thing getting me through my disney withdrawls is that I know I would be miserable if I went now and at least a year or so after I had the baby. I would want to go probably when my child is around 2 yrs or so. I think that would be a good age.

Now, now. There was no laying on the ground. I was probably down on a knee getting an angle that I wanted, but not laying down. I know that, because if I had been laying down, you would have had to come and help me up. And I don't remember you helping me up.

I agree about the summer.
I wouldn't want you to be miserable, either. But I won't mind it if you're miserable in October! ;)

DH and I are getting very close to starting our family. And I am determined to wait until after our November WDW trip. First, I do not want to walk a million miles being pregnant. And second, I would have to miss all the best rides! No fair!

And remember Who had to bring in all the luggage last trip!:stir:

A little Swan! How sweet!

So, when I meet you in November, it's okay if we go look at WDW baby clothes, right?

pooksma - Don't you have something you need to be doing? A little dusting? Starting dinner? Just 'cause you're finished with your schoolwork, that doesn't mean you can come over here and start trouble!

I offered to help with the luggage. She put me on baby patrol, which I gladly accepted.

When she is carrying my newest little sweetheart, :cutie:
I'll bring the luggage in by myself,
blindfolded,
with my hands tied behind my back,
uphill both ways!

But, I'm going to be nice and not say anything else until after the summer trip, because I know how much she wants to go and be free to have fun. But, while she's spinning around on Space Mountain or chasing down a dinosaur, I might be in a store looking at...

BABY CLOTHES!!!
