We are heading down in Nov. And our son will be around 8 months. I am wondering about rides.

In my mind I'd like to have him in his Ergo and bring him on the simple things like
Pirates of the carribean
dumbo
It's a small world
Peterpan
Winnie the pooh
People mover
Jungle cruise
Little mermaid
Nemo
Living with the land
Movie ride
Safari

What am I missing?
Tips from the parents out there?

I have a regular Ergo but I was thinking on getting an Ergo 360.

He can ride everything that doesn't have a height restriction.

He should be able to ride all of those (as said, anything without a height restriction) and you should be able to wear him in the ergo on many of those as well - at least I was 5 years ago. I know I wore him in my Beco on the safari (which was helpful as its bumpy), IASW, HM, movie ride, and the people mover. I believe we had to take him out for Peter Pan. the lap bar has to be able to close so with rides with lap bars you may have to take him out (with haunted mansion I had to adjust, but it closed fine). Probably on dumbo (and triceratops spin!) you'd have to take him out, too - unfortunately my memory doesn't serve me quite perfectly to the exact details on all of the rides anymore ;)

Just watch out for the movie ride - the gun shots really freaked my 6m old out and she cried throughout the ride :S she was fine with everything else you listed though!

Dumbo they have to face forward and be in the seatbelt

For HM, LM, PP and others with a lap bar I believe we had to have him facing out and under the lap bar as well... Probably easier with an 8 month of than an 8 week old!

I've seen this picture somewhere before... Oh yeah, I took it! Lol.

Back on topic, if he'll stay in the Ergo he does have to be facing forward and under seat belts/lap bars. Have fun!

This is great news guys! Lots of great tips thank you. :) Owen is very excited to meet Mickey!!! ;)

Oh a couple more rides my 11 year old mentioned
Spaceship Earth.. I can't remember if there is a lap bar.
Also the toy story rides?

I don't think Spaceship Earth has a lap bar.
Toy Story Mania has a lap bar, when you pull the gun towards you the bar comes down on you. There isn't a bar as such on Buzz though.

I've worn a baby (and toddler) on almost all rides including plenty with lap bars and have never taken taken them out of the carrier other then the carousel because they insisted she had to be on a horse. (I don't know how it was safer for me to then have a toddler on one horse and an infant on another rather then 1 on a horse and the other in a secure carrier)

My daughter slept in the carrier for 3 rides on haunted mansion in a row and multiple times on Peter Pan as well
