Baby album - shower gift

I've been thinking about doing an 'empty' album like this - but what do you do where they're supposed to insert pictures? Do you just leave the white blank space and then give them double-sided acid-free stickers with the album? or do you put some kind of picture holder in there so all they have to do is slide in the pic?

Thanks so much!

I just left the blank photo mats. The photo mats I used were 4.25 x 6.25 inches for the top layer and 4.5 x 6.5 inches for the bottom layer. That way both colors will show when a 4 x 6 picture is put on top. I didn't give her any adhesive to use because I know she has a tape runner from when she thought she might get into scrapbooking. If I were giving it to someone who had no idea about scrapbooking, I suppose I would include some kind of adhesive also. You could also use photo corners so all they had to do is slide the pictures in, I just tend not to use those.

Wow! What a blessing to have a friend work so hard on such a special gift.
I, too love that baby food jar paper.
Is that your handwriting on some of the quotes and things like the "Too many cute outfits"?

MyLittlePiglet - The building blocks alphabet stickers were from a company called The Paper Loft - they exhibited at CKC so I picked it up there. I checked their website, and they only sell wholesale, BUT I have the whole rest of the sheet (minus the letters for playtime and fun) that I really don't have a need for anymore. It still has enough to spell Playtime again - if you'd like it, PM me your address and I'll send it to you!

Thank you very much for the offer. I was interested in the stickers in general not nessacarily to scraplift your playtime page. Just wonder what to keep my eye out for.

I wish I had handwriting that nice! No, it's a computer font - I used the same one throughout to be consistent. It's called Little Days and I must have picked it up somewhere online - that's where I get all my fonts.

WOW! what a great gift and a great friend to do that for her!!!! how very lucky she is! I loved all the pages, but my favorite was the summer day one with the bees and ladybugs. did you make them from the cricut? i'm so glad she liked it! (how could she not, right?)

Nope - the bees and the ladybugs were die cuts from the company Deluxe Designs, which is/was going out of business so they had all their die cuts for $1 at CKC. I stocked up and I actually used a lot of their stuff in this book.

Both of those albums are absolutely amazing! I wish I would have invited you guys to my baby shower!

New England Eeyore I love the stickers on the 1st birthday page. If you don't mind sharing, I would love to know what kind they are and where you got them!

The first birthday stickers are from Jolee's - I can't remember the name of the line but it's the one with the larger packaging. You can find them at most chain craft stores.

You guys have done AMAZING work!

Tou know, I keep saying that I really don't need a cricut, but will all the beautiful layouts that I have seen using it, you guys are really cracking my resistance! ;)
