DH went to see it today (and fell in love with everything I knew he would!) and had a good talk with the owners/landlord....

I'm excited for a new week but a little sad that Nemo goes to school in two days. I must try to monopolize him.

I have a wedding shower coming up on the 9th of September and I have got to get cracking. I can't remember if I've mentioned it here, but I started sewing (inherited my mom's machine), and what I'd really like to do is make a basket of napkins, placemats, maybe throw in some kitchen utensils if they're registered for them. So, hopefully I can find some good fabric this week and get one it.

Well at least now you have a nifty lil' place to stick your pins.

Sadly, no! All the lower ticket items were all snapped up and I cannot afford the high end ones. I think I may put a bottle of wine and some nice glasses with the napkins and placemats in a pretty basket and call it a day.

Been traipsing through the upper Plains this past week.

so mom's dr visit went well... she has to go back in a few more weeks... basically nothing has changed..... (which is a good thing) they wanted to make sure the "numbers" were not changing or going in the wrong direction... and so far it;s stable ... so we are good with that...
