Morning! I'm off work and plan to do a whole lot of nothing. I may sit out by the pool and read on my kindle but I don't feel motivated to do much else.

Our school schedule came out for next year finally and it's what I hoped it would be, more time off after New Year's than before Christmas. That means we are set for our New Year's Fantasy cruise next year (and the Alaska one in June.) Now I'm not only working to feed my Disney addiction, I have to really work for my Disney cruise addiction.

Our school calendar (draft--not approved yet) came out. I hate it. I have never seen such a mess in my whole life. We work on Memorial day according to that schedule.

Heat pump out and no one can come out until Monday.

Good thing we have a wood-burning fireplace. I'm going to get a space heater tomorrow.

Honey, it was 14 on Tuesday and Wednesday here.

Last night, it was about 28.

It'll be warmer this weekend, though.

Glad things are working out school wise for you. I believe in family vacations. I just don't believe we should be forced to a summer only schedule.

For the most part our winters are mild in these here parts. But we do have the odd cold snap. Which over the last few years is happening more often and hanging out longer once they start. I live 33 miles off the coast of SC and the last 2 years we have had 6 to 8 inchs of snow. Which is almost unheard of around here. But what scares me even more is the weird hail storms.

Usually we have 1 month or so when it is too cold to be allowed. Last year, we had three months like that. It's supposed to be 70 today by lunch, but it was cold this morning!

Which is funny because our winter is becoming shorter and shorter. We used to get a few months of semi cold weather, now we're lucky if we get a whole month.

Weather's been crazy here, too. Supposed to be 45* tomorrow!! Not that I'm complaining... There is no snow cover whatsoever. But, according to those who were here, last year was a whopper in terms of cold and snow, so I guess this is just the next cycle.

Mean Queen -- I'd like to be sitting by your pool right about now. Might be cold for you but it's gotta beat here! Hey, hopefully we can do "our" coffee when I'm down in June!!
