God bless her. I greatly admire nurses, having an aunt who is one, and just from my experience with the ones in the CICU when my mother passed. It takes an amazing person to be able to do that kind of a job.

When she first started talking about being a nurse, I sat her down and had a very long tallk with her. She has never talked about working in a office it has always been a hospital. So I let her know that especially in that position she would have a direct impact on people. That she would be dealing with families in all types of situations and if she couldn't be honest with herself and know in her heart that she wanted to make a difference no matter how small in someones life then this wasn't her profession.
