I know there was a big fuss here a couple of months back with Virgin changing it's baggage policy, and the suggestion was that all airlines would be following suit.
Well BA have followed with quite a significant reduction - on an economy ticket, you are limited to just one 23kg (50lb) case per person, and 2 cases on Plus / Club / First tickets. You are allowed a further piece of sports equipment per person, which means DF won't have a panic about his golf clubs (and that we can squash our excess baggage in his golf bag
).
Luckily for most of us, travellers to the US are still allowed 2 pieces of luggage whatever ticket they have
but no case can be over 23kg.
