BA Gatwick Flights - a question

Hi Everyone

Has anyone been on a BA gatwick to MCO flight recently? Wondering if they are using the refurbished planes on this route? Last trip out had the old Boeing 747 on the way out and the new 777 for the return leg. Being holed up in economy thought the seat back TV on the 777's were great and we are hoping that we might get them both ways this time! Two weeks today and we will be on that plane !!!!!! Geting VERY excited.

We went in February and got the new 777 going and a very old one coming back!

I did enquire with BA when their whole fleet would be updated - they replied that it was an ongoing programme!!

Someone may have travelled more recently who can give you a more recent update

I wouldn't mind this - I would rather have the seat back TV while travelling out, as it is during the day, and would keep the little one amused. Last time it was fine for me and DH as we couldn't sleep but the little one hardly used it as she always manages to get some shut eye. Oh to be 7 again!

Guess I just need to keep my fingers crossed!

Travelled out on 2nd September and back on 14th. 777 both ways. Not sure of age of planes, but had seat back TVs both times.
