BA has some mid-week fares starting from £444, (same as Virgin) for flights in Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb and March.

Good prices For anyone interested I just did a quick search of some random dates from Glasgow in March 2013 and was getting £460.

If only I could afford to bring our trip forward to March!

American Airlines comes out this morning with reduced fares to Orlando from £444 for departures from 22nd Oct - 14th Dec 2012 and 25th Dec - 15th Mar 2013.

Reduced fares also to Boston, NY, Chicago.......

This sale ends on the 10th July just like Virgin, so thankfully when one airline reduces its fares so other's will follow.

yes, i noticed the BA fares last week - they were even lower than US Airways (which is always pretty low)..

i was looking at flights going out in october and returning in november...
the business fares were lower than i've seen them in several years!!

but i still can't commit to a flight as i don't have the final go ahead from my surgeon yet....he won't know until september, whether i'll be ready to travel in october...
so i'll have to buy my flights at the last minute i guess....in any case, i still haven't decided what to do..
