I have a reservation at B.O.G for 8:15 my first day at magic kingdom. think I'll get out in time to beat the rope drop crowds to 7d or should I try to head elsewhere?

You can finish eating as quickly as you like.

But, is there an early morning "event" on your day?

as of now no, it's a thursday with no EMH or event

Belle is never at BOG, and Beast only appears at dinner.

As to the likelihood of early access to the mine train, who knows? Because Disney is selling early access events now, no one knows how the lines to mine train will be affected. I always suggest that if the only reason you book bog is the mine train, you may end up frustrated. The only thing a ppo meal guarantees is breakfast.

a free 100% and some times they open the park early I would just eat your breakfast enjoy it then head over to 7DMT after if the line is too long for you do it latter in the day ( like right be fore park closes)
