Azalea Question

I have a reservation for the Contempoary for next March. However, I am thinking of changing it to POFQ for the landscaping if the azaleas are in bloom. I would hate to go in the early spring and miss the flowers by being at the Contemporary with their limited landscaping. Does anyone know if they are out by the 1st of March?

All of the azaleas here in AL have either already bloomed or are in bloom and dying out now.

I was in the Daytona Beach area the last week of March this year and drove down from Alabama. When I left home the azaleas were just beginning to bloom but about South Georgia things began to change.....the rest of the trip down to Daytona the azaleas were beautiful!!!!

The azaleas are hard to judge. Last year ours started to bloom in late February after a warmer than usual winter, but a late freeze killed the buds. This year ours were in full bloom for Easter. You just never know.
