Just got back last night.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way possible. We stayed in a kids suite on the 3rd floor in the east wing. Not an ideal location but VERYquiet which I can appreciate and the view of the bay was beautiful.

We ate at:

Mama della
Sal's
Trattoria oporto

the kitchen at hard Rock

Mythos
Lombard's

Had great meals everywhere. Staff was helpful and we rented a car from Hertz for the day to go to seaworld which couldn't have been easier. I got a great rate through USAA (31.00).
Any questions? Feel free to ask!!

Got any pictures? That is a great rate for a car from there. I'm going to have to try that next time instead of renting a car for the entire trip and having to pay parking fees.

Please show us some pictures!! We were in a kids suite at PB last week and I forgot my camera. Was your suite the Dr. Seuss one? That's what we had and it was so cute!! We had one on the ground floor in the East wing for three nights and one in the West wing for one night. The one in the East wing was much bigger! I asked and was told the rooms in general are larger in the East wing- not sure why this is? I have had standard rooms in the East wing that were larger than deluxe rooms in the Villa wing.

Wow, that's good to know. Maybe they figure it is more inconventient over there. I've never stayed on that side but that is very interesting.

I do have photos but I'll have to have my husband help me get them on the forum. I'm hopelessly stuck in the '80's and I'm totally clueless how to use anything digital!

When we checked in, the person at the desk said that we would have a Dr. Seuss theme. Apparently, all the newer rooms have that theme. However, we had a gelateria theme with a big mural painted on the wall. The kids headboards were padded sailboats and the light between them was a lighthouse. The room was HUGE. There was a table and chair and another ottoman type sofa. We put the baby's crib in there and there was still so much room.

We had the Geleteria theme for the one night in the West wing. I was told they will all be changed out soon to the Seuss theme. I know what you mean about the size of the room. The kids room in the East wing was HUGE and I mean huge! When we swithed to the West wing there was a noteable difference. My husband said next visit he will bring the tape measure to note the difference:rotfl2:
