I remember really enjoying Epcot when I was a kid.

I loved Epcot in the 80s .. how each Pavilion had all sorts of "wonders" in it. How each one had its own icon and identity.

I remember visiting the Spaceship Earth VIP lounge back in the early 90's when it was sponsored by AT&T. My dad was an employee and took our field trip group into the lounge. Way to impress a group of 3rd graders!

By some strange coincidence, I dreamed last night that I was in the old Imagination Pavilion. I woke up with tears in my eyes because I knew it was gone.

Thanks so much! I remember going upstairs and loving it. The old pavilion was so much more interesting! It is too bad it cannot be brought back to its glory for everyone to enjoy!

I was hoping when they turned Captain EO into Pixar previews, that they would take the opportunity to make some kind of refurbishment to the whole pavilion, but I guess with all the other projects going on in the parks that wasn't really a priority.

The current (IMO ugly) color scheme of the building and the Imagination Institute premise of the Figment ride were designed to go with Honey I Shrunk the Audience, which has been gone for a long time now. Oh, well.
