I hope this is true. We were looking forward to eating there, but then heard about the canges and decided not to. If so I will have to figure out what to change.... just when you think every thing is planned.

Woo Hoo! It is true... I just called Disney Dining. It sounds like the old menu but a bit more upscale like the flank steak is with mushrooms, the pork is a brown sugar and granny smith apples concoction. There were like 4-5 dessert choices (It was hard to understand due to her accent) but I heard something about a double chocolate cake and I can't remember what else. Oh there was also something about onion straws. The children's menu will be the old version with Mac n cheese, chicken strips and fries. I asked about the kids dessert menu and she didn't have it listed so maybe it will be the regular adult choices but kids sized or hopefully worms and dirt

THANK YOU OP!!!!... we are now going back to such a great place next week and I will definetely update you all how it is. We will be there Tuesday and I'll have my DH post from home.

Wonderful news!! It's almost like.... like.... they listened to us!
Or more accurately to YOU! Thanks to all of you who sounded off on this to WDW. I was planning to but found it difficult to do without having personally experienced the changes. Now I will have the perfectly legitimate pleasure of sending them a "thank you" note instead. I'm sure I won't be the only one.

Thank Goodness!! The GG was our 1st night at the World tradition and I was pretty bummed about the menu changes. I had not planned making an ADR there for our December trip, but I will be now be looking forward to the reviews and planning to put it back on the list.

Can anyone fill me in on what the vegetarian option will be (or was last this menu was used)? And the dessert?
We haven't been since the mid-80's...wanted to go back but read such bad reviews this year that we didn't. May have to try it next year!

Do people think that this character dinner is better than the one at LTT? I am nervous about dinner at LTT as I "fear the Stouffers", and had read the bad reviews about the food changes @ Garden Grill. The new/old Garden Grill menu might be a better option now...thoughts?
