I jumped over to the jj cole site to get an idea of the bag size. I suggest you jump over there to see it. They have other colors and its a bit more expensive, but its good to actually see it being worn by a person. They are a pretty large size.

does anyone have the small messenger bag from disneyshopping.com? Once again, they don't think people have to see it worn by someone OR be able to see the pockets / compartments inside the bag.

My sons got me this bag for Mother's Day. I love it, haven't taken it to the parks yet but it is a great size.

I bought one for me and one for my dd9. It fits us both and I am no small woman. Plenty of room in the larger pockets,and there are pockets all around it,even a pen holder. I think this will work great for us. My ds11 would rather where his fanny pack and My husband will not give up his backpack. I think this would be perfect if you do not need to carry all your childrens items for them. If my children were younger I would have stayed with a bigger bag, but this is great for now. The real plus is my daughter's name is Karsen, try finding that on anything, so when we can personalize it we buy it.

Can someone please tell me if this bag is appropriate for a 4 year old? Or is it too big to fit around his little body and would be hanging off him. jtslykin - can you post pics of your bag? I wanted to know if the phone holder is large enough for an iphone. When they make those pouches, they don't usually make them wide enough, which shocks me, especially with everyone that uses pda's today . Thank you!

It looks like it may be roughly the same size as mine which is a Kodak Z710. This bag would be great as I hate carrying around to much stuff with me!

If the Disney bag is the same measurements as the JJ Cole, then yes, your camera will fit. My camera is roughly the same model. In the same pocket as your camera you could also put an extra battery if you have one as well as a few memory cards. There are many pockets which will be helpful for organizing maps, tickets, ADR lists, lipbalm, sunscreen, and on and on...... there is even a water bottle holder!

Hey Kathy- so glad you like the bag. I have been looking at it, but waited to buy it until I get a Diser's opinion. Can you tell me: Are the pockets sealed by velcro? Is it sturdy? Also, I am not comfortable carrying my valuables on my back, would this fit ok carrying it along the front of you? If so, can you post a picture of it?

The top pocket is sealed by velcro as well as a magnet. The magnet is in the lining, it does not need to be placed together like a snap closure (does that make sense?) The two bottom pockets are zipped.
Yes you can wear it backwards. I just filled it full of stuff and tried it out, no problems.
When my model, aka DD, gets home from school, I will have her put it on for photos so you can get a better idea of it (I'm sure she will be thrilled ). It is very roomy for a bag that isn't big and bulky. I am very happy with it!

Can you wear this bag while on all the rides, rolloercoasters etc? If you can't, does Dis have a place to put it safely while you ride?
