Awesome bag at Disney Shopping

hi there, just wanting to know if anyone has any more thoughts on the jjcole bag or the disney sling...heading to DL in 5 weeks and still looking for the right bag....i definately trust fellow dis reviews over reviews on the sites, so anything you can tell me would be very appreciated..thanks :goodvibes
My only problem with the bag is I wish the strap was a bit longer...dbf is a tall guy.

Can you wear this bag while on all the rides, rolloercoasters etc? If you can't, does Dis have a place to put it safely while you ride?

I think you could probably wear it on most rides, but any ride where you would need to store it, Disney will have a little net bag inside the ride for you to stuff your things in (Safari, Dinosaur...etc)

MainStMandy- do you have the jjcole one or the disney one...thanks for your quick response...:goodvibes...as for the strap, i am only 5 ft 4 and dh is 5 ft 8...thanks again

I have the same problem. I just ordered this and it came today. I'm only 5'4" and it's almost too short on me, it will never fit my husband who is 6'. I looked on Disney shopping to see if they specify anything about strap size, and noticed they have another bag, identical in looks and specifications on the website, but the price is $2 more. So I emailed customer service to see if there is a difference, thinking maybe one is child/small size and one is adult/large size? If I get a response, I'll post back. I'm hoping if there is a difference, they will exchange it, even though its a create your own, since the website doesn't specify anything about a difference.

If I don't hear back, or they can't do anything about it since it was customized (just a character on mine), then I'm going to try and sew a longer strap on it by cutting the one end, and sewing a new piece of webbing onto it. It won't be ideal, but it might work (hopefully it holds though and doesn't rip!)

Thanks for the info...maybe it was a kids bag, lol. I think there might be a way to attach a longer strap but not sure it will lay right.

I heard back from DisneyShopping. There is no difference between the bags at the two different prices, aside from the character selections for the customization. I guess they just figure that only small adults or children will wear this bag!

I'm not sure what I'm going to do with mine (I might end up giving it to my nephew); however, if I decide to keep it, I'm going to make the strap longer. I was looking at it, and if you cut the strap (the webbing part) close to the bottom end (the side with the longer piece of webbing) you could sew a new piece of webbing on, and put the clip onto the new, longer piece of webbing. The part that is sewn together shouldn't get in the way, since the seam would be close to the bottom end of the strap. I don't know if that made any sense at all, sorry if it didn't!

I'm glad I found this thread. I had been contemplating purchasing this bag... thanks for the info on the strap. I'm NOT small, so I would need to be sure the strap could fit comfortable. Sounds like I may need to keep looking, based on some DIS'ers experiences... :confused3
