If you can buy them at any old store or from any old website I would guess that the store and website are profiting, not the cause. So, what's true? Is the money donated to Lance Armstrong's organization, breast cancer research, and the troops, or is this just a fashion statement?
I actually just purchased a 10 pack from www.laf.org (Lance Armstrong Foundation - wearyellow.com links to it as well.)
money goes to the chairty
as well as a 10 pack of the pink ones from Target...which I believe is the only place that is selling these and donating 100% of the profits.
$20 well spent IMO.

I specifically asked the agency to consider doing a run of youth bracelets, but they said not very many kids would be wearing AIDS bracelets and it was too expensive to produce them. OK, fine. Maybe I should start wearing my red one on my ankle! (It is actually a little bit too tight on my ankle or I would do it.) DS would love to have one but it would be enormous on him.
