I have not heard of this- can you tell me about the Tree of Life Awakenings?

It's a light/projection show. The one we watched it took a sculpt of a deer on the tree and had it come to life and told a story. It's pretty good and there's multiple different stories that go

There are 4 (I believe) different projection shows that last 5-7ish minutes.

IMO its a Not To Miss.

After night falls, pay special attention to the Tree of Life at the center of Disney’s Animal Kingdom park. It quickly became my favorite thing in DAK. (Of course, that will be temporary, as the novelty gradually wears off.) It's just marvelously done, and worth spending 30 minutes or so watching. In between the actual vignettes, you'll occasionally see a little movement here or there. On one occasion I recall, quite a large movement.
The showings aren't in order, but random, so you might see one more than once and another not at all. (Somehow I've seen the one with the fox about half the time.) And they aren't on a schedule - sometimes as close as 5-6 minutes apart, sometimes longer.
One of them is actually centered around Disney movies with nature themes, rather than focusing in a particular animal on the tree.

It is important to note that the Tree of Life Awakenings happen randomly throughout the night and are not scheduled. It may be one of those things you have to wait around for, but IMO its definitely worth it!

Yes. It's listed on the MDE app - Today's Showtimes.

Yes, the Tree of Life Awakenings perform nightly, with different shows at various points throughout the night. As far as i'm aware, they still do not announce showtimes.
