Just pointing out to OP that it is difficult to avoid Mears.
Looks like they own the territory.

I've decided to use Sunray. It's going to be about $20 more for the trip, but it means we get a towncar instead of a shuttle bus.manning said:Just pointing out to OP that it is difficult to avoid Mears.

With our trip, we are planning on going to Universal two days, and Mears is really our only option unless we fork out money for a taxi. One day of this is for Halloween Horror Nights, and from my understanding, some towncars don't travel that late.
I think what we'll do is try Mears for our first trip to Universal, and if we don't like it, we'll just spend the money on a taxi for our second trip.

Search the boards and you'll see very few complants for the millions of rides that DME has provided. Can they still mess up? sure they can. Is it for everyone? Not at all.
But trying to say Mears sucks because of your 2000 trip to today is like comparing the price of gas when you were a kid to todays prices, there is no comparing to be made.
