Hi to all,
We are planning our trip to WDW mid July with a 'just turned' 3 year old. I'd like to avoid line ups as much as possible at MK and the water parks.

Does anyone have any tips to the best times for the shortest line waits? Or tips at the waterparks for short line times?

Many thanks!
W. :dance3:

Well unfortunately, you won't be able to avoid much during July. But I can give you a few tips:

Get to the parks at opening, not 10 or 11. The lines will be shortest from opening to about 1 1/2 hour after opening. If they have Extra Magic Hour and you are onsite, take advantage of it.

Use FastPass. The longest waits in Fantasyland for example are Pooh and Peter Pan. Use FastPasses on those. The wait for Dumbo is just mind-numbing. Try to do that first thing. See Ariel early too - that line is crazy long.

Waterparks shouldn't be an issue as you won't be going on the big slides with her. Just get there early as they may fill to capacity in mid-July.

Definately park hop. I assume you'll be taking mid-day breaks for naps. If the park you were in was very crowded, try hopping to another park for the evening, unless it's evening EMH, then avoid it.

I hope that helps a little. No matter what, have a great time. There are a lot of fountain areas at the parks for a little one to play in. I've learned to let mine play instead of trying to rush around. You won't see everything, so don't even try to.

Get to each park a 1/2 and hour before opening and use FP...thats about the best you can do. :thumbsup2

One day skip the day parade fantasyland pretty much empties out for the parade and youll be able to get a lot done... also if you can I know with a toddler this maybe hard but if you are planning on staying for the night parade stay for the second one its less crowded because most people only see the first then leave the park and during the first parade get a bunch of stuff done then as well....
