Avoiding back to school

just a quick question I am hoping you can help me, when do the schools go back this summer?

Schools go back all different times. It depends upon the state, and even the districts within each state.

totally depends on which state or area in that certain state you are talking about. In central indiana, we go back the first full week of august. However, i know in southern indiana they go back the second and sometimes third week. ??

There is no national "back to school day". Schools in various parts of the country start back various dates from July through September. In the central Florida area, most schools typically start around the 3rd week in August (+/- a week depending on district).

In Rhode island we start back the Wednesday before labor day.

If you're trying to book a vacation for after US public schools are back in session, aim for the week after Labor Day.

We have been then several times and the crowds drop drastically on Labor Day (as Florida locals end their holiday weekend-getaways) Crowds can go from a "7" on Monday to a "2" on Tuesday after Labor Day.l

That first couple of weeks of September can be excellent for low, low crowds. But also very hot, very humid and that is prime hurricane season too.

We go back on July 31. (Yes, JULY, Ack!) but most parts of the country are around the 2nd to 3rd week in August.

As mentioned, there is NO one date.It varies by state, town and school distrcit within each.I am in PA and we go back the week before Labor day.In Nj we went back after Labor day and when we lived in South Carolina we went back beginning of August..If you are trying to avoid kids, and you wont because many parents pull kids out of school or homeschool, aim for after Labor Day
