Avoid the Big River Grille and Brewing Works !!

Ate there twice with many years in between. Food was just awful and we had 4 different dishes. Yuck, never going back. I agree, a big waste of valuable Boardwalk space. Please bring in a new restaurant!!!!

I agree it is way to noisy inside for me. And the atmoshere..well there is none. The most I will do is sit out side and have a beer. We tried the beer sampler outside and that was fun. But eating in the place is out of the question for me.

I'm glad I found this thread. I was planning on eating at the BRGBW for dinner during our trip this October. My DH is a BIG beer lover (he used to brew his own) and loves to go to restaurant/microbreweries (Rock Bottom, Granite City, RAM are a few local ones we go to).

But, now I am reconsidering....it sounds like nothing is good about it - the food, service or atmosphere. We were planning to go to eEMH at EPCOT after dinner....maybe we'll just somewhere at EPCOT instead.

If your hubby enjoys beer that much you may want to try the beer flight. Its about $5?? Sit outside on the boardwalk enjoy the water view and the people strolling. They give you a paper place mat describing the beers you will sample. Some are good.

oh wow we love big river grille!! it's in our top 5!! the shrimp that come with the steak is really good... and the nachos are yum!! dbf really likes their blueberry beer and burgers. maybe it was a bad day?

We love it too. It is very loud inside no doubt, but we have always had good food and good beer from there. There is not a restaurant on property that doesn't get bad reviews from someone. Many love San Angel and it is one the worst restaurants experiences I've ever had. I always try to take a reviews with a grain of salt good or bad, we all have different likes and dislikes.

I already posted about the service the last time we were there. We knew we were not in a Disney's managed restaurant. We will not go back with our kids.

That said we will go back for a "Kobe Burger". I also want to go back to try the Meat Loaf, it comes highly recommend (Corey Martin).
