Avoid park with evening EMH?

Hi All,

We have young kids so we won't be able to stay for evening EMH. I know that the advice usually is to skip the park with morning EMH if you're not going to the EMH. Would you also skip the park with evening EMH or does that not affect crowds as much as morning EMH?

It very much depends on the time of year and the overall crowd level. Typically a park hosting an EMH evening does not experience significantly larger crowds until up into the afternoon and early evening hours. If you are going for the morning and then planning something else for the evening you should be okay. However, if you are planning to stay in the park through the evening hours you may experience crowds that are significantly larger.

If you are not going to EMH at that park probable safest to just go to another non EMH park.
