i just realized that I'll be in WDW the weekend of the 45th anniversary. We're doing two park days - Saturday October 1st and Sunday the 2nd. Anyone who was there for the 40th have advice on when to do the MK that day? I'll have a 2 year old with me so we'll be focused on attractions - not 45th anniversary hoopla if there is any. Would we be better off doing a MK morning or afternoon that day? I don't want to stay out of the MK all day, but I'm sure we could spend half the day at Epcot if the morning would be tricky at MK.

Any tips or thoughts are helpful! Thanks :-)

If it's anything like the 40th, I'd run the other direction.

Ugh, that's a bummer. I was kind of hoping it would be like parade taping - big crowds in the hub, but no one on the rides?? Disney hasn't said anything about the 45th yet, so maybe they're skipping it in the name of holding out for the 50th??
