Average Nights Sleep

Hmmm...normally go to bed at 10 (unless at the parks for fireworks/Illuminations/Fantasmic) and up at 7 to 8 the next day. If at the parks late due to shows, then definalty not up until 8. Quick showers for everyone (if not taken care of the night before), then out the door with breakfast on the way to the bus stop (unless we plan on eating in the park) and at the stop by 9 or 9:30 at the latest.

So 7 to 8 hours most nights. No problem sleeping for me, I'm so wiped out that the excitment can't keep me up long!

Sounds like the average is less than 8 hours per night. A sprinkle a pixie dust gives us that extra gear we all need.

One trip I went solo for 3 nights. (RADP-V, 1998) I literally closed down PI every night (morning), and was in bed by 3am and up at 6:30 am every morning for EE or some other breakfast meeting.

When I left about 5pm on Monday to head home, I was planning on getting as far as Atlanta, then stopping. I only made it just north of Ocala. I found a hotel room and slept for 15 hours!!!!

Most normal trips, I get about 5-6 hours per night. I'm usually the first up and the last one in bed. We usually come back to our resort twice during the trip at lunch to wash clothes. Other days, we take our lunch break at a moderate or deluxe resort. We spend at least two-three hours eating a nice lunch and sitting at the pool bar or inside lounge relaxing.

However, on my December trips when I go camping, I find myself spending a lot more time at the campground than I would if I was at All-Stars.

There are two places I don't get any sleep: Las Vegas and Disney World. I will invaribly stay at the park until it closes and then wander back to the hotel. When we stay at Fort Wilderness, we do the campfire/movie with Chip and Dale or the Electric Water Parade after the parks close. Another idea is going to the miniature golf courses after the parks close. Now that Pleasure Island has opened, I go there until 1 or 2 am and hang out at the Adventurers Club. I'm always ready to get up and be at the next park when its gates open the next day. I figure that I can sleep when I get back home or after I die.
