Does anyone else feel that Fredo was "used"? Tonight's episode where he was in the submarine really upset me, made me feel sorry for him. To him it was going to be an adventure being on the sub, not spy time. I think if he knew that's where he was heading for on the sub before he got on, I don't think he would've went for the ride. He only looked when it was shoved right in his face. The way he chose to address it with Larissa showed just what kind of a gentleman he is. He could've really slammed her to the other guys, but evidently kept what he'd seen to himself. I was glad to see Jim go tonight, and am rooting for Brian to win next week.

Yep, poor Fredo. Who is the stud that is left? I don't watch every week, but I can't even remember her talking to him before. Do they seem to have chemistry together?

A part of me actually felt sorry for Jim tonight - there really is not much upstairs, only enough for him to know that he doesn't have much upstairs.

I felt terrible for Fredo tonight! He was so upset and hurt at what he was seeing! He did a good thing when he left on his own. I was how ever shocked when Brian said that it wasn't fair because all the others had to have their name called out and take the walk of shame. He doesn't have a clue what Fredo went thru and it wasn't right for him to say such a thing.
Jim and Larissa didn't have anything in common and I was happy to see that she didn't take it based on him being "good looking". I don't know who the other guy is though and I've watched it every week. He must of been hiding in the background the whole time. Did she even take a private date w/ him? I don't remember one.

They really haven't showed much of the blond guy before tonight, but they didn't seem to have much chemistry going. There's that ex-girlfriend issue he should never have mentioned.

I wasn't rooting for anyone in the top 4. None of them are right for her! She should have kept Tony. The show is boring now that I don't like any of the guys.

I still can't believe Brian is still there. That voice would have earned him a trip on that first bus if it were me.

I'm looking forward to seeing Adam on his own show.

I like Brian a lot. I think she does too - so I think it will probably be him going home because of the anguished tears they showed in the preview of next week (right at the very end it showed her in her final goodbye dress looking totally devastated as if she had to do something really hard).

There was one date they showed with the other guy - I think they went to some sort of factory and made stuff - where they seemed to be connecting.

I didn't like the fact that Fredo just up and left, but I also didn't like the fact the Larissa was going to cut him anyway! To me, that just shows how shallow she really is. Every time they showed one of the muscle-heads, they were always all over her, groping her and sticking their tongues down her throat. Meanwhile, the average joe's were always talking to her, being polite and taking it nice and slow! The fact that she could actually carry on an intelligent conversation with Fredo, while Jim answered all her questions with a grunt, shows that she was only interested in looks! Well, here's good luck to a fellow Red Sox fan! (I can't wait to see them in Fenway Park)

I thought it was wrong that the producers just took Fredo on the sub, why not any of the other guys (Brian & Gil)??? Why was Fredo singled out? I feel Fredo was set up, by the producers!
I do think it was decent of him that he didn't go back & tell Brian & Gil what he saw. He could have really trashed her to them.
I am glad he left on his own & she didn't have the chance to send him home.

Jim.....UGH!!! I am so glad he is gone. I do have to say I am very surprised she sent him home though. I thought for sure she would go for him. Jim is SOOOOO BORING!!!! Yeah, of course he is real nice to look at but I think he is all about looks & he really doesn't have nothing in his head to brag about!

Out of Gil & Brian, I really hope she picks Brian, but I don't know. She does seem kind of shallow, like she would dump Brian, who seems really like a great guy, and keep the "hunk", who to me seems quite not right. He seems to be not really emotionally for any kind of serious relationship.

As for her surprise...it could be anythiing!!! I can't wait to find out.

I am rooting for the Underdog, Brian!!!!

I was wondering what she'd reveal next week also...does she have a child, is she divorced? Who knows. I agree with one of the other people, that just listening to Brian drives me insane! From the time he arrived I said he's got to go! He's just very annoying....although, I don't really care for the other guy who's left either, but I would hope that would be her choice. And they STILL didn't announce it as a finale, did they? How could they possibly get 2 more shows out of this?

I guess Fredo was on The Today Show this morning (I missed it). Did anyone see it?

I think the show has sunk to a whole new low (I know, the entire show is pretty low) by putting Fredo in that Sub to spy on them. It was cruel to do that to Fredo and it was pretty sneaky to do that to Larissa and Jim.

I think they chose Fredo to go out because of the guys left, he would be the one to react the most and say the most.....ratings

Gil is the blonde guy left. He seems nice. He isn't all over Larissa that I've noticed. She was the one that started the kissing with him in yesterday's show. He is more reserved and holding back...so that could be his downfall.

Brian's voice is annoying....but he is a nice guy. Looks better since he got his hair cut too.
He seems so excited to show Boston to her
He's only fallback could be that he is too serious about her.

I can't see anything long term with either of them.....but what do I know. We only see and hear what they want us to.

Can't wait for Adam though. Love the commercial

While watching last night, I just kept telling DH - "what a set-up"! It was so much more obvious to me that the producers are so manipulative (I know they've always shown us what they want us to see, but this just seemed so wrong!) So, Fredo's stomach "turned" because she was playing tongue-hockey with a hunk? He could have tried that too. But, hey she let that hunk go then too. The whole episode was just so boring - what a waste of 90 minutes! yeah-yeah, I'll watch next week - and that had better be the finale!!

Bring on Adam!!

Fredo probably got picked for the sub ride because of his previous conversation with Larissa regarding the woman he had been seeing who lied to him (was married, etc.). In that conversation he made it clear that it was upsetting to him to be in that situation and he wanted someone he could trust and that could be honest. He felt Larissa was but the sub ride "proved" to him she wasn't what he thought she was. Total set up and not a nice thing to do to Fredo or anyone.

His note to her and not saying anything to the guys about what he saw was a brave thing to do.

I'm routing for Brian, the local guy.

I caught Fredo on the Today show. He talked about the fact that he talked to the producers about the letter. He said that they helped him write it because if he wrote it himself right away it would have been full of bleeps. He also said that it wasn't just seeing her kiss Jim that bothered him. He thought that if she was like that with him she could have been like that with all the other guys and that was not the kind of girl he wanted to take home to mom. He did say that he saw Larissa at some event in LA and they hung out together the whole time. I thought he would comment on the fact that Larissa got rid of Jim, but he didn't get into that at all.

Everytime I watch the show I notice how she sucks face with all of the hunky guys. But my thoughts on that is that the hunky guys are more used to making moves on girls and so they aren't shy about going in for that kiss. The average guys are probably not as used to going after the girl and they are a bit shyer about it.

I wonder what the surprise in her past is? How long ago was she in the pagent? Can you try out for Miss America if you have a kid?

I look forward to next week. Although Brian has not been my favorite I hope he wins.

There's something about Brian's voice that just irritates me, but I hope he wins. It will give him a way to open himself up more and to try something different in a relationship.
Poor Fredo, he did like Larissa and it is a show, but his feelings were more in place here. I do think that he handled it nicely instead of just being in her face about the situation. If Larissa just knew the reason of why he left, maybe that would have made her feel a bit bad, instead of oh well he's gone now I don't have to eliminate any of you now.
I am also wondering what is in her past. I think it's a child also. She said that she was in a relationship that moved fast and that relationship was for nine months-pregnancy also lasts that long, ... I think she will announce that she has a child.

I too felt so bad for Fredo. The producers picked him because they knew they would get the most reaction out of him, which is really unfair. I wonder if Larissa was telling the truth that she was going to get rid of Fredo any way, or she was lying just to save face.

I'm thinking she's going to pick Gil. Like someone else posted here, they show her next week really upset. I don't think she would be that upset letting Gil go, so I think Brian will be the one she says goodbye too

I thought the whole thing with Fredo and sub was pretty low. I mean they could have at least told him what he was getting into. Of course, if they did that then he probably wouldn't have gone.

Is there going to be a show with Adam? That would be cool Can someone fill me in? I watch on a Canadian channel so we have all the American commercials edited out

I think that the producers knew she was going to can Fredo so took him on the sub to create a little drama. I think they expected him to stay and turn her down in the ceremony which would have been (in their opinions, I assume) a cruel twist.

I also wonder whether they told him he couldn't tell the others?
