What is the average price for a standard pin at Disneyland? You know, the ones that people trade with each other and cast members?

Thanks for the tips.
I looked on ebay and found some sellers that look legit based on their feedback. Next question, what does it mean when it says it's from a "Cast Landyard"? Does this mean you can't buy it at the park, but can only trade for it? Does this actually make it more valuable or easier to trade?
How would I know if I had bought fakes? I bought a small lot on ebay last week from an ebayer with excellent feedback. I received all the pins in very good condition and all were stamped with the Disney logo on back. They seem fine to me. How would I know if I had a fake?

It is not always easy to tell.
For example, here are two pins that exist in the trading world today.

Similar, yes. And if you were to receive either, you would think it looked legit. However, when you compare them, you can see the difference in skin tone, as well as the eyes and lips. Also, the real pin is 2.5" x 3" while the fake is quite a bit smaller at 2" x 1.5". The authentic pin has a has Disney Auctions logo hologram on the back, while the fake does not.
Example #2:
If I were to receive the pin on the left from an ebay seller, I would think, cute pin!

Sadly, it is a counterfeit version of the pin on the right.
- background color is wrong
- paint "splats" are the wrong color
- the star in the "T" is more defined in the "real" pin
- Donald's tail feathers are much more defined in the "real" pin
The backstamps, copyright, logo are identical. But, again, unless you see them both, how would you know you bought fakes?
There are countless more examples, sadly. If you are buying from an ebay seller you are always taking a risk. I have friends who have bought from "reputable" sellers, received good pins, bought a 2nd time, received fakes. And as pixiewings illustrated, you can't go by feedback, sadly.
