Man, I hope they figure this thing out in the next month. Just the idea that we won't be able to get into GotG whenever we want is distressing. If there's still a line to get into AC when we're there, I can just see us getting in and riding GotG over and over and over before we leave, regardless of whether or not we get into WS.

I feel exactly the same way! GotG is pretty close to being my very favorite ride. If I had to choose between GotG or going on WS for the first time, I would choose GotG every time. I don't go until the middle of July, so I have very high hopes that they will have worked out a solution to giving people access to GotG even without a WS boarding pass or waiting in the standby line for the land by the time my family visits in six weeks.

I don't know how the fact that people can only ride Web Slingers once a day and they can't visit as frequently as they used to is going to affect enjoyment of it. Since it's going to require developing a bit of skill to score well on it, I really wonder how people are going to be interested in riding it once a day, infrequently. And, if you can only ride it once a day, infrequently, I don't imagine those $65 toys are going to be flying off the shelves in the beginning. You need to be able to ride a LOT for those to make sense.

DW and I both tried those toys (2 sets) and did not see any difference in gameplay or scoring. We did confirm the toys were switched on in the “ride” mode, but it’s possible the toys were not being “detected”. The weight of the toys is also a significant downside. Some hints on how to use the toys will surely appear in the coming weeks, until then I won’t bother bringing the toys with me to the park

Web slinger was gone within 5 seconds.

Although I did hear many more people cheering about getting web slingers so I'd bet most people had better odds since you can only get 1 boarding pass at all.

current wait times in DCA are very encouraging to me. Even RSR is under an hour when I looked just now. They started off high this morning so I was concerned since we are going to DCA tomorrow

Yeah, right. Not gonna happen. There are no guarantees to get into a land or on a ride when you visit the parks. Literally thousands of people are dealing with the same situation.

I’m jumping in here to say that pre-pandemic, I know several families who got offered tickets to come back after complaining at guest services. One of them was a family of six who didn’t even have anything particularly go wrong? They just didn’t think the CMs were cheerful, and something broke down on them in line. That was literally it, and they got tickets to come back another day. That was spring of 2019.

So, it could happen.

Another problem with the mobile order system is that it incentivizes people to stay in the land if they have an order later.

I understand that now they are letting mobile orders into the land? But if you paid attention to the pop-up, don’t know that, and you’re in the land with an order an hour from now, you’d probably just stay so you can get your order. Or just not want to chance it.

Just talked to Josh D'Amaro near Pym's test kitchen. Man is every bit as humble as you've heard. I run into a few other higher ups in my time, and some are really caring and some sound like a robot reading a script. He is one of the best

Sweet. I was too nervous to talk to him, but its nice to hear that he is a good guy.

I guess we’re just lucky people. We avoided the early line up and got into DCA at 11:30. Walked over to Avengers Campus entrance across from Sonoma Terrace. Sat down at one of the tables next to the falls...hubby went and grabbed a beer and a wine. Standby line was 2-3 hours, at that point. I loaded up the app for the virtual que...(with hundreds of other people, it was a pretty festive atmosphere) 12 rolled around and we got a BG! Lots of cheering and high fives.
